These symbols comprise the basic ‘astrological alphabet’ and are used throughout the astrological community. They should be memorised by students of astrology.
 
Although there are minor variations on some of these symbols, they are universally recognised. The symbols for the minor asteriods are too numerous to include here. Traditional astrologers do not use the asteroids.

The symbols include the aspects, all the star signs, asteroids, lunations, planets symbols, and other symbols such as nodes, eclipses, and retrograde.
